In the past, you have sold a jet that pounds the same area of your body, "NO MORE"! American's new Whirl-Jet revolves on stainless steel bearings, enclosed in a plastic housing assuring constant movement with no drag or friction. The difference is the massaging action to your body and so invigorating that a standard jet will no longer be satisfying.

The greatest part is the cost which is only a little higher than the old standard jets. Do not show the new Whirl-Jet to a customer unless you are ready to sell it!!

 Whirlpool System Installation Guide
The Following are Several Basic Points to Consider
When Installing Your American Whirlpool System:
    1.  Suction inlet on motor should be 1/4" higher than suction fitting on tub. This will eliminate air locks and insure proper drainage.

    2.  For whirlpool system to drain properly, install all jets sloping toward foot jets or side jets higher than front or back jets allowing the water in your lines to drain in both directions.

    3.  Jets should be placed a minimum of four(4) inches below safe water level.

    4.  Pump should be mounted at the rear of tub. (Opposite end from drain)

    5.  All cement joints should be clean and free of defects.

    6.  To insure maximum drainage of your whirlpool system always make sure all piping is pulled as tight as possible eliminating any and all sagging that could possibly hold water.

    7.  Before hand tightening all fittings make sure backside of tub is smooth and free of defects. Check to insure that all "O" rings are in correctly and silicone is applied liberally to avoid leaks. Hand tighten wall fittings only.
Any and all repairs should be made only
by authorized dealers and their authorized personnel.

If you need assistance or have any questions on the American whirlpool system
you may call any of the American representatives.

Use and Care Guide for American Whirlpool System
  1. Before initial operation of your new American System take a few minutes to read instructions on its operation.

  2. Never allow the whirlpool system to run without sufficient water in the tub. The pump is designed to be cooled by the water.
Continued operation without water could damage seal or impeller.

  3. Never allow small children in the bath tub without proper supervision.

  4. Don't place small articles in the bathtub that could possibly enter into the jets or suction area.

  5. If your system is operated by a timer or wall switch always set timer or switch while out of the bathtub.

  6. If your system is operated by an air switch it can be turned on or off at any time while in the bathtub.

  7. Make sure the eyeballs of all jets are turned in a downward position.

  8. Do not add bubble bath, soaps or oils to the water.

  9. While in the bathtub you may start making the necessary adjustments for the most comforting and relaxing bathing experience:

     a.  Adjust the eyeballs for the directional flow that most suits you.

     b.  By adjusting the Air Control(s) you can determine your own air and water mixture. The Air Control closed all the way will eliminate air from your jets. Open your control(s) a slight turn at a time until the suitable massage action is determined.

  10. Be careful not to overdo your stay in the bathtub.
Cleaning Tips for American Whirlpool Systems
It is necessary to regularly clean your American Whirlpool System, especially when taking oil baths. Normal cleaning should be about once a month.

  a.  Fill your bathtub with warm water.

  b.  Add 1 cup of Clean Way or call for other recommended products.

  c.  Turn your system on and allow it to run for about 10 minutes.

  d.  Drain bathtub.

  e.  Fill your tub once again with rinse water and allow your system to run another 10 minutes purging all soap from the lines.

  f.  Drain tub - and you should now have a clean and sanitary whirlpool system.

Safety is the Problem and duty to your Customers

American Has the Solution

AAI has been working on ways to guarantee the safety of the public for many years, regardless of who manufactured the product. We have designed this SAFETY SUCTION VALVE with the general safety of the public in mind. This valve is installed in the suction line by a 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 1" tee stubbed above the overflow. The valve is adjustable to any psi desired to meet all safety standards. The valve should eliminate practically all concerns connected with the hair entrapment issue. American Acrylic & Injection Inc. feels that if a maximum of 2 psi is reached on the suction before the valve de- primes the pump, the unit should be safe.

If the pressure on the cover should reach 2 psi the pump with immediately shut down and release the object covering the suction valve. Once the object has been removed and the pump has had an opportunity to re-prime itself, it will begin operating again. We feel the strongest feature of this valve is its construction. With no parts to wear out or malfunction our simple spring loaded construction should practically assure the unit's working order.
