Most whirlpool bath tubs, hot tubs and spas have over 24 feet of complex pipes and fittings that gather an internal bath tub ring that just can't be wiped off with regular cleaning. Body and bath oils, dirt, hair, soap scum, even rust and mineral deposits from your local water provider are pumped through the whirlpool system many times over with each bath. Even if you bathe without using your whirlpool system the bath water still enters the piping system leaving these deposits behind.
